CurlCAST Online Scoring and Statistics

Suggested use: This feature is ideal for fans who want a live window into all the action at the 2009 Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings. It allows you to watch live scoring for games in progress on your computer. It is also a great way for fans to keep track of the entire event by using an Interactive Draw features that lets users track team progression, schedules and scores for the entire event. Both the live scores and interactive draw act as portals into the official Web site, interactively connecting scores and draw information with games, stats, team and athlete information, interactive venue maps and video.

CurlCAST Online Scoring and Statistics has a Scoreboard that "pushes" shot-by-shot scoring and statistical information to curling fans in real time. It also provides curling fans with links to other key sections of the site and a multi-sheet scores view. When launched, it spawns a separate browser window that sits on your desktop updating with scores and statistics as they change.

Games in Progress

Suggested use: No download required. This single Web page provides you with a quick overview of what is happening right now on all sheets at the 2009 Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings.

Automatically updated every minute to your browser with no action required from you; Games in Progress offers a full web page view of all the current games in active play. A table for each sheet with live play shows team names athlete shooting percentages, and current scores. Athlete names link to their biography pages. When a game is complete, the results are moved to Completed Games pages within 5 minutes.

Completed Games

Suggested use: No download required. These web pages allow you to review the shot-by-shot outcome of each game. Ideal for fans who missed live games and want to see how their favorite teams fared.

Completed Games are a set of pages for games that have finished. They are categorized by day and by draw. Make your selection for draw and day from the graphics on each page. Results from games that have completed are moved from Games in Progress to Completed Games within a few minutes after the game finishes. Athlete names link to their biography pages.

Event Statistics

Suggested use: No download is required for this page. Event statistics allow you to view detailed statistics for each completed game and the entire event as a whole. Stats such as; shooting percentages, hammer efficiency, steal efficiency, force efficiency and more.
